I tend to read every day, and quite a few on this list have been re-read many times. Because they’re good, and because I’m too much of a dullard to take it all in first time around.
I’ve only listed my favourites from each author, but have read most, if not all, of the books published by these guys. Some of them (Terry Pratchett & Michael Connelly for example) have published a huge quantity of quality material. Not sure why there are no women writers here, but maybe I’ll think of some at some point.
